If you are moving house, downsizing, or just having a good declutter, you probably have lots of items waiting for a new home. We have suggested where to take unwanted items to save them from landfill in previous posts, but you might not know about all of the recycling points we have in the village. In fact, whether you need to get rid of batteries or old shoes, you really won’t have far to go.

We are building a map of recycling points in and around the village. The green markers show where they are and what they take. There is also a list below the map. And don’t forget, we also collect electricals and medicare equipment at the markets at the end of each month. Between us we can save so much from ending up in your grey bin!

List of recycling points:

    • Clothes & shoes: Mary Stevens Hospice charity shop, recycling bins at The Royal Exchange pub and in Kinver Tandoor carpark

    • Batteries: Kinver Community Library

    • Soft plastics: Co-Op

If you know of any points we have missed, get in touch.
