With rising energy bills we are all looking for ways to save some money on our heating. And heat loss around the home is one way you are pouring money down the drain (or losing it up the chimney…), so knowing what areas are making your property thermally inefficient is important.
Our thermal camera will show up the cold spots, and help with prioritising actions to make your home more comfortable, and cut your bills. It’s already helped people to spot sections of wall which are poorly insulated, chimneys which are letting heat escape, and uneven loft insulation. We will demonstrate the camera in your home, discuss the results, and bring with us information on next steps, useful contacts and financial support you can access via grants. The images can be made available to you for reference.
We are now booking visits for the New Year. The best time is early morning, when the temperature contrast is greatest. A visit would typically take 30 to 60 minutes.
