Have you noticed our lovely new electric buses? Diamond Bus’s latest vehicles are fully electrically powered and produce no carbon emissions or exhaust fumes from the tailpipe. So bus journeys are even greener. That’s sustainable travel!
The buses have been converted from existing diesel-powered Diamond vehicles, to minimise waste. In partnership with UK-based EV specialists, MAGTEC, the engine is replaced by an electric motor and battery packs, which provide 200 kWh of battery energy storage.
Buses are already one of the cleanest ways to travel. By reducing car-use, they help to lower local carbon emissions and congestion problems.
